Qi Gong

We are delighted to announce that Claire East will be instructing on  Monday 5.30-7.00pm and Tuesday 6.30-8.00pm.  This will be bookable in blocks of four weeks. –

Claire has been studying Tai Chi Chuan and Qi Gong for 13 years, with several teachers in both Wu and Yang styles of Tai Chi Chuan.

She is an instructor with the Jing Shen School of Tai Chi Chuan, and is a registered instructor with the British Council for Chinese Martial Arts.

The Qigong course is based on the Yin and Yang principles of traditional Chinese medicine and comprises a set of eight exercises involving the integration of the mind, body and breath to increase internal energy (Qi) thus improving health and calming the mind.

The aim of the course is to teach these eight exercises over four weeks with the intention that students can continue to practice them for their own benefit.
