Dark Chocolate

A recent study on patients with heart failure compared ingestion of dark compared to white chocolate. Circulation in the small arteries improved in those taking dark chocolate. In the study people did not put on weight over a four week period and glucose ‘toxicity’ was reduced. We think the chemical Flavanol is implicated in this.
